Canadiana Restaurant

Good food, attentive service, reasonable prices in a pleasant atmosphere makes this restaurant a perennial favourite for many. The decor may be a little dated but is very comfortable and makes for a good place for small gatherings or large groups. Have always had a satisfying and pleasant experience here.

Nice regular bar type atmosphere that is great for friends and meetings. The staff are excellent, knowledgeable and friendly.

Great for get togethers, reasonably priced

Had Several meals at this restaurant beautiful meals hadn’t intended to go here. Was looking for breakfast place & Dundas Street Grill was full. Surprised not open earlier for breakfasts since just up the street no room, no seating avail. And this restaurant has plenty of seating and really good food. Maybe people just don’t know about it or figure it’s part of the bar right at the front. That could be a deal breaker for this restaurant/ bar. What people also do t know it’s a catering place & has lot of space. For events! That’s this restaurant who knew?

Great as always. Try the famous veggie burger.

The food is fantastic, homemade burgers are lean and tasty. The service is friendly and excellent. Great place to eat and watch the game.

Irregular visitors, group of 12-14. Reservation. Waited longer than usual for menus, water, general service. Lovely Christmas decorations, good food, but not enough servers. Friday lunchtime pre-Christmas. Have experienced better service here with Sunday reservations. Maybe popular wait staff missing?

First time visit yesterday for a late breakfast. Ambience is for the older crowd, though there is a bar area out front. Seated ourselves. We ordered a couple different eggs benedict, a seafood salad and French toast. All of them were very good, certainly above average fare. Great value as well.

Hockey pool was fabulous. The restaurant let's us use their downstairs banquet room. Then they fed us very well. Great place to have an event.

My husband and I came here during a banquet and we loved the food. Very delicious. We had a great time. Initially, when you look from the outside, you'd think kids could not come in, but they have dining in the back, which is separate from the bar area.

My family and friends have often visited the Canadiana restaurant over the last 15 to 20 years and it's such a treat to go there. They know us and they always treat us very well. We consider them friends. The selection of food is excellent and they have wonderful specials. The ambience is warm and friendly. We always look forward to it.

Canadiana is a reliable restaurant. Often, it is better than average with good food at good prices, and relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately tonight it was just average. The food was up to par, but once seated and having our orders taken, we did not see our server until she brought our cheque - and that was 20 minutes after we had completely finished everything (with no drink refills). We will likely go back, but our visit this time was soured.

An Etobicoke classic. Great for dinner and reasonable

We have had a few family events there and they're pretty good! The banquet room is in the basement but it doesn't feel super dark. The food was enjoyable!

Unfortunately food quality has really gone downhill over the last couple of years. Staff warm and friendly, family atmosphere but kitchen is starting to let them down.

Always great food and good service

Not knowing what to expect, this simple pub style food with friendly staff hit the spot. I had fish and chips, while the two people I was with had the Sheppard's pie and a Reuben respectively - not a complaint among us. Food came out in a timely manner, all around great experience.

This review is for the bar lounge. Great little neighborhood type bar! The staff make you feel so welcome; it's like a real life "Cheers" lol. It really made the visit fun and friendly. Our waiter, Peter, had a great sense of humor ;) It's a relaxed atmosphere, so I probably would come here if I were in a hurry. The food is high quality, much more than typical bar food. The Reuben sandwich was stuffed with corned beef and so delicious! If you are into sports, there are several TV's. They also have a big, more formal dining area and a huge banquet room downstairs. The bathrooms are clean and wheelchair accessible.The parking at this mall can be pretty full at peak times and the pub gets very busy so go early! ;)

One of my main spots to eat. very good location, well kept, and awesome customer service. A must try!

A great local (Eatonville/ETOBICOKE) restaurant in the Six Points Plaza offering an extensive, varied menu along with great, friendly service. Very spacious on 2 levels (ground and basement) the restaurant also has a fully stocked bar.

We enjoy to go out. Last night we came to this magnificent place which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a lovely experience there with great meal and a nice team and an impressive chief cook. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we shall no doubt return very soon. We highly recommend.

Great food, best waitresses, nice atmosphere

Excellent chicken wings, french onion soup and prime rib sandwich.

My colleagues and I frequent this place after work every chance we get. They have the best wings I've had in a long time. The service is always fantastic, friendly with a smile. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. True Canadian bar experience. I would recommend it to everyone!

You’re standard pub, restaurant, and event space. It’s been a staple in the community for years and years. It’s a Cheers style, regulars atmosphere with great food.

The place is quite fancy and way cheaper than what we were expecting it to be when we walked in. The food we ordered was good and the Mediterranean salad was fresh.

Good and affordable venue for special events. The staff is very friendly.

Great comfort food and music

Idk y I’m giving 4 stars. I mean I guess it’s not my favourite spot is all. The food is good. I order a Reuben usually and a friend grabs the hot hamburger. I’ve had a few things on the menu and everything is pretty good. The ambiance and could be a bit better and everything about the place is a little dated. I did an event here one time as well and everything went well.

Yummy food – I had fish and chips, would recommend. Antique Canadian decor and friendly staff. Bar and dinning area, sports and large portions (Chocolate Lava Cake for desert if you have room).

Portions are good. It seems a lot of customers are regulars, leading me to believe this place is consistent and doesn't disappoint.

Wonderful people, make you feel at home!!

Great place for lunch. I meet my friends here once a week and we love it. The lemon chicken is amazing, so is the new york steak.

The food was overcooked, over salted, poor quality, and bland. Filthy carpets, and disgusting wallpaper splattered with food. Gloomy dark room, no natural light. Avoid this place, we are just glad we didn't get food poisoning.

If I could give Zero stars I would. Last night our child went in to grab take out. 2 side orders of french fries and a French onion soup. Took over an hour to get these 3 small items! The fries were cold, soggy, undercooked, (we only live 1 minute from the restaurant so travel time was not the issue) , freezer burnt, and definitely from a McCain Super fries bag at the cost of almost 7 dollars for each side order of fries. The fries and the soup were inedible. Very disappointed Canadiana restaurant. Our family has been coming to your restaurant for decades, but you have been seeing less and less of us as your food and service declines. That was the final straw.

The Canadiana Restaurant surpassed all my expectations once again! So much I had to give it a proper review. The freshness of their food, and their price point was spot on in my last visit.
